Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Spooner, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a 18,654-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for the construction of a 18,000-square-foot municipal facility.

In general, the work consists of construction of a new multi-divisional facility (approximately 18,000 square feet, one-story, brick cavity wall construction) and parking lot to replace the Division of State Patrol, Spooner Post and Division of Motor Vehicles, Spooner Service Center. The facility will be built on a site located at W7074 Green Valley Rd. Spooner, WI 54801. The site contains an existing DOT sign shop which will be demolished to make way for the new building. The site also contains an existing DMV office building which will remain operational until the new building is occupied, and then it also will be demolished. This project will also include a new parking lot and utilities and the construction of a communications radio tower adjacent to the new facility. All potential bidders must be certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects over $100,000. All bids received from contractors who are not certified will be rejected. Bids must be submitted as a single lump sum bid for all work, accompanied by a bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid.
