Site work and paving for a road / highway in Spooner, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Bid proposals are requested to supply and apply CHESS/SCRUB Sealcoat Oil (approximately 25,000 gallons), CRS-2P Sealcoat Oil (approximately 75,000 gallons), CRS-2 Sealcoat Oil (approximately 23,000 gallons), and CQS-1H D30 Fast Set Fog Seal Oil diluted at 70/30 oil/water (approximately 35,000 gallons). Application requirements include: CHESS/SCRUB seal oil applied without brushes, and specific delivery and application quantities per oil type. Work must be completed all at once or within 4-5 days, coordinated with Highway Department personnel, and performed preferably between July 20th and July 30th, 2026. Vendors must schedule and supply tankers, leave tankers onsite as necessary, and provide experienced equipment operators (minimum 3 years’ experience). Equipment must be in full working order prior to use. Vendors must provide references, fill out county-supplied logs for oil use, track gallons by roadway, and indicate if credit is given for returned oil. All vendors are to have a single on-site point of contact for each type of application. Proposals must be submitted on the required form, in a sealed envelope, and include unit pricing and responses regarding credits for returned oil and price-holding for quantity changes. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to select the most advantageous bid.
