Renovation of a military facility in Binghamton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,015-square-foot military facility.
There are additional, controlled documents for this project. Construction services for the build-out of the 1st floor of the Binghamton Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, including furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to complete a full interior renovation of approximately 3,015 square feet to be constructed as a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). Work includes demolition, abatement, new wall construction, installation of hard ceilings, doors, casework, woodwork, flooring, plumbing, electrical, IT infrastructure, fire protection, and mechanical system modifications, all in accordance with contract drawings and specifications prepared by N.K. Bhandari Architecture & Engineering, P.C. The contractor must meet minimum experience and past performance qualifications, ensure key personnel have the required years of experience, comply with HSPD-12 security requirements, and adhere to special site restrictions including prohibitions on cell phones and transmitting devices. All disruptive work must be performed after hours at no additional cost, and the contractor must coordinate all building shut-offs and roof penetrations with GSA Building Management and the Security Division Access Control.
