Renovation of a laboratory facility in Elkin, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 11,154-square-foot laboratory facility.
Provide architecture/engineering services to include design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout services for removing and replacing the existing roof system at the Elkin Veterinary Laboratory located in Surry County, NC. The scope of work includes removal of the existing roof system (original to the 11,154 SF building built in 1988) and replacement with a new Standing Seam Metal Roof System. Design must be in accordance with SCO standards and comply with all ADA and life safety requirements. Submit three (3) copies of the Letter of Interest and three (3) copies of the Standard Form 254 (SF 254) with the information package. The submitted information package should not include notebooks, binders, tabs, or clips, and should be 8-1/2" x 11" pages stapled in the upper left-hand corner. The Letter of Interest should not exceed ten single-sided pages or five double-sided pages plus the SF 254. E-mail and fax submittals will not be accepted. The proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina.
