Renovation of a municipal facility in Passaic, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the furnishing and delivery for the City Hall Plaza Deck Revitalization in Passaic, New Jersey. Proposals must be submitted using the standard proposal form provided. Each bid must be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond from a Surety/Bonding Company licensed in New Jersey, a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check for ten percent of the total bid amount, not to exceed $20,000.00, to ensure contract signing. Bidders must also submit a Certificate of Surety from a qualified Surety Company confirming provision of a Performance Bond for the total bid price. The successful contractor must submit a Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond. Submission must be in a sealed envelope, marked with the contract title and bidder information, and addressed to the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing. Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, and prevailing wage rates as set by the New Jersey Department of Labor. The City Council may consider bids for sixty days after receipt. Question Deadline 03/13/2026 Every request for an interpretation shall be in writing, addressed to the City of Passaic representative stipulated in the bid. In order to be given consideration, written requests for interpretation must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids.
