The Latona-Griffin Park Engraved Memorial Pavers Project is designed to enhance the appearance and significance of the memorial area by introducing customized engraved memorial pavers featuring the Passaic Fire Department logo, to be installed in front of the existing Latona-Griffin dedicatory memorial pedestal. As part of the base scope of work, a portion of the surrounding area will be improved with new concrete paving to create a durable and visually cohesive setting. In addition, an alternate bid includes the installation of a commercial-grade flagpole located behind the memorial pedestal, complete with an integrated lighting fixture to illuminate the memorial area. Alternative A further expands the scope by providing concrete paving for the existing grass area behind the base bid paving, ensuring visual continuity and uniformity with the newly paved concrete surfaces throughout the memorial space.
