The City of Bend invites sealed bids for the construction of Bend Bikeways Construction for SE 9th Street, NE Bear Creek Road, and SE 15th Street - North. The project will build shared use paths adjacent to each of the three separate roads. Work includes constructing pathways and ADA ramps, retaining walls, drainage and stormwater management, signing, striping, and landscape restoration. The project requires traffic control of work zones and a construction schedule coordinated with the City's Project Manager, with work to be completed over a multiple month period. The Project consists of constructing the Bend Bikeway project's shared use paths adjacent to three separate segments of road; SE 9th Street, NE Bear Creek Road and SE 15th Street - North. The Work includes pathway construction requiring approximately 1,300 cubicyards of asphalt concrete pavement, 6,000 square-feet of retaining walls, 3,300 of curbing, among other components. Ancillary activities to completing the pathways include, but are not limited to, ADA ramps, drainage/stormwater, water utility relocations, signing, striping and landscape restoration. The Engineers estimate is $2,800,000 to $3,600,000.
