The work consists of providing and installing new furniture for Elmwood Elementary School as indicated on the documents and specifications. The contractor must furnish, deliver, and completely install (including full assembly if required) loose tables, chairs, shelving, etc., in the quantities and arrangement shown on the drawings and as specified. All packaging, wrapping, and delivery components must be removed from the site after installation is complete, and all items must be cleaned prior to leaving the jobsite. All equipment must be delivered and installed, and the project shall be substantially complete on or before August 14, 2026. Bids must be a single lump sum proposal for all items of furniture shown on the Furniture Plan and included in the Equipment List. Only complete bids for each group of furniture identified on the Bid Proposal Form will be considered; partial bids will not be considered. Bid award will go to a single vendor for each group. Bidders must provide product presentations and specifications for each piece of furniture. Alternate manufacturers may be bid but must meet or exceed the minimum specifications of the specified items, including detailed specifications and color photographs. Samples for verification and finish selection are required. Bidders must also furnish maintenance instructions, inspection guidelines, and include the manufacturer’s standard warranty. Additional requirements include coordination for delivery, installation, and field measurements, as well as compliance with environmental limitations and quality assurance standards. Bids should include costs for freight, installation, assembly, and a PM on site for daily checking. Physical samples must be delivered after bids are received and will be evaluated prior to the final contract award. Multiple delivery dates will be necessary and must be included in the bid price. The bid must not include state sales taxes or federal excise tax; the district will provide tax exemption certificates if needed. All bids must include three copies (one original, two copies) of the Proposal Pricing Form and the Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit. South Lake Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive irregularities, and accept the bid which best serves its interest.
