Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ashland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Furnishing all labor and material for the construction of 13th Avenue water main and street reconstruction, from USH 2 to 6th Street E. Major quantities for the work include maintenance of traffic, removal of curb and gutter, sidewalk or driveway, asphalt pavement, water main pipe, storm sewer pipe, storm manholes and inlets, tree clearing and grubbing, common excavation, geotextile fabric, granular subbase, dense graded crushed base course, hot mix asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, 4-inch and 6-inch concrete sidewalk or driveway, concrete steps, turf establishment, erosion mat, storm sewer manhole and inlet, 12- and 15-inch HDPE storm sewer, 6-inch wrapped underdrain pipe, various sizes of C900 water main pipe, fire hydrants, gate valves and boxes, water services with corporation and curb stop, and sanitary sewer lateral service. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Contract shall be subject to Wis. Stats. 66.0903 pertaining to prevailing wage rates and Federal DavisBacon wage rates. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract in accordance with federal labor standards (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts [DBRA]), Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act domestic procurement, Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 Section 3 (24 CFR 75), Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O, 11246 The Owner encourages MBES, WBES, and SBRAS to submit Bid proposals. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The City of Ashland reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City. The City of Ashland does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability in employment or provisions of services, programs, or activities.
