Bid proposals are requested to supply approximately 500 tons of Cold Mix Asphaltic Pavement, SC500, delivered to the Washburn County Highway Department at 1600 CTH H, Spooner, WI 54801. This material must be suitable for both hand patching and paver patching. Additionally, approximately 150 tons of Sylvex/HFE are required, which will be picked up at the bidders plant by Washburn County Trucks and must also be suitable for hand patching. All material is to be furnished by the contractor. Instructions: Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked COLD MIX AND SYLVEX #04-26M. Only the provided bid proposal form is accepted and must be filled out completely. No interpretation of the meaning of the RFP will be made verbally; all requests for interpretation must be in writing and addressed to the Washburn County Highway Commissioner. Proposers may be required to provide additional information or data to determine their ability to supply the product. Proposers are encouraged to notify in writing of any inconsistencies or ambiguities in the specifications. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to select the bid deemed most advantageous.
