The work consists of replacing motor protection devices on Chiller 1 and Chiller 2 at the Heating and Chilling Plant, University of Wisconsin - Parkside, Kenosha, Wisconsin. All potential bidders must be certified by the Department of Administration prior to submitting bids if the project budget is over $100,000; bids from non-certified contractors will be rejected. Bidders are responsible for ensuring sealed bids are delivered to the indicated location or submitted electronically before the submission deadline. Bids may be submitted as a PDF file via the eBuilder Bidding Portal (preferred), by US Mail or third-party delivery, or by hand delivery to the designated drop box. Bid opening will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. Construction bidding documents are available as downloadable electronic files in PDF format. There is no deposit required to obtain bidding documents. No pre-bid tour is scheduled, but contractors may arrange a site visit by contacting the designated representative. The application of a 5% permissive bidding preference for certified minority businesses is currently paused.
