Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nether Providence Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Online sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Road Resurfacing Project. Major items of work include 28,340 square yards of milling, 2,520 square yards of base/trench repair, and 2,930 tons of wearing course. All bid documents, construction plans, and specifications are available online via the PennBid Program at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder will be required to pay a PennBid Program fee of 1/4% of the contract award value, with a minimum fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. A bid bond of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Nether Providence Township, must accompany each bid. Requirements include compliance with PA Prevailing Wage Rates, various insurance requirements, Public Works Employment Verification, equal opportunity provisions, a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price, and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price.
