The Scope of Work includes removal of the existing asphalt surface from one street, edge-grinding of six concrete streets, removal and replacement of deficient concrete slabs on seven streets, installation of concrete curb on one street, replacement of four existing curb ramps in order to bring them into ADA compliance, and asphalt overlay of seven streets, followed by application of asphalt rejuvenator. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. Sealed bids must be submitted with two copies in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled with the project name, date, and time of opening. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid must accompany each bid. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
