Sealed proposals are being requested for tuckpointing and miscellaneous work at Bloom High School for Bloom Township High School District 206. Bids must be submitted with a bid bond or a certified check for at least 10% of the total bid as a guarantee. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a Labor/Material Bond from a Surety approved by the Owner. Bidders must examine the plans, specifications, and the site to judge all conditions affecting the cost and nature of the work. Not less than the prevailing wage shall be paid for labor as required by law. Compliance with all State of Illinois and federal laws concerning public works projects, as well as the Illinois Human Rights Act and related regulations, is required. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in the bid. The deposit is refundable if a bid is submitted and upon return to Architect of complete and undamaged sets.
