Renovation of an educational facility in San Ramon, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade educational facility.
The work consists of roof replacement on a two-story classroom building at Iron Horse Middle School. Bidders must attend a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at the site to become familiar with the bid documents and worksite. The contract is estimated at approximately $270,000. All bid forms must be completed, signed, and returned. The successful bidder is required to provide a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract sum, issued by an admitted Surety approved by the District. The project requires use of certain proprietary products specified by brand and specification section. The project is a public works project subject to prevailing wage requirements, and the successful bidder and all subcontractors must comply with applicable labor codes and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders must possess a valid "Class 39" license. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities or informalities in the bidding process.
