Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Hundred, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-cell, seven-room municipal facility.
The work includes a complete interior remodel, including exterior doors, of the Town Officials' Office (Former American Legion) building located at 14 Beech Street, Hundred, WV. The remodel consists of offices, conference room, ADA restrooms, utility room, storage room, and holding cells. It also includes new flooring, wall finishes, drop ceilings, plumbing, electric, hot water heater, HVAC, new sidewalks, and a precast interlocking concrete (bin block) retaining wall on the north side of the existing building. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount or by a certified or cashier's check in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder is required to provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. If bids are 10% over the estimated project cost, the owner may rebid the project. The Work will be substantially completed within 150 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 160 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
