Sealed bids are requested for furnishing the necessary labor and materials for the Hillside Redevelopment East 71st Street Storm Sewer Extension in Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications available at the office of the Village Engineer. Bidders must deposit sixty dollars for the Plans and Specifications, use the provided printed forms, and purchase the set to be registered as a plan holder. Bids must state separate amounts for labor and material, include the names of all parties, and be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit equal to ten percent of the Bid. The Bid Guarantee is required as surety for contract execution and performance within the specified time if accepted. Bids must be sealed and properly endorsed. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, accept any bid deemed most favorable, disregard nonconforming or incomplete bids, and conduct investigations to assess bidder qualifications and financial capability to complete the work as required. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed and forwarded to the Village Engineer five (5) or more days before the date fixed for opening of proposals.
