Site work and paving for a road / highway in Irwin, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work consists of milling approximately 6,800 square yards, installing approximately 380 tons of level course, 565 tons of 1-1/2" wearing course (9.5 mm, PG 64-22, 0.0 to 0.3 million ESAL's SRL-M), base soft spot repair, associated line painting, and appurtenances. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements apply. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of Irwin Borough. The asphalt price index as per PennDOT Publication 408 is applicable. Irwin Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
