The project is expected to be awarded on April 21, 2026.** Town of Crescent is accepting sealed bids for the following road projects: Beyer Road 60 miles of single chip sealing with fog and crack sealing (flex or mastic) North Rifle Road-2.08 miles of single chip sealing with fog and crack sealing (flex or mastic) and striping for railroad Range Line Road-1.8 miles single chip sealing with fog and crack sealing (flex or mastic) Sterling Road-26 HIMAC Patching and Crack Sealing 2. Culvert Replacements on Fire Tower Rd Hat Rapids Road-02 miles reconstruction Long Lake Road-500 HMAC resurfacing & shouldering, and 1.78 miles of single chip sealing with fog and crack sealing (flex or mastic) BEYER ROAD sealing: .60 miles (3,168 feet) from County Highway N to Termini. Beyer Road is 20' wide. The work for patching under this contract consists of preparing the surface and applying a rubberized "Flex" patch to cracks in the road surface prior to the chip seal work. The work for single chip sealing under this contract consists of sweeping any loose material off the existing surface, application of a bituminous emulsion and surface chips, sweeping after the application, and application of a fog seal to the new chip seal surface. ALTERNATE A - Use Asphalt Repair Mastic in place of flex patching. ASPHALT REPAIR MASTIC A. This work consists of cleaning, filling, and leveling the cupped cracks and other depressions to seal out water and improve ride quality with asphalt repair mastic material. B. Furnish applied, pre-packaged, pourable, aggregate filled, polymer modified asphalt repair mast Pointe Pave Patch Black, Maxwell Gap Mastic 201, P&T Products Dura-Fill Mastic T2, Pure Asphalt Mastic SR, or a town approved equal. C. Heat the asphalt repair mastic in a thermostatically controlled, hot oil jacketed mastic mixer equipped with a full sweep horizontal agitator that can maintain a uniformly mixed product. The mixer must have an effective means of dispensing the thoroughly mixed mastic material. D. Prepare all surfaces by ensuring they are free from dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose material prior to application of the mastic using clean, dry, oil free compressed air at 90 psi minimum. Sound substrate surfaces and remove delaminated material prior to final cleaning. Ensure the surfaces of the pavement are completely dry and clean at the time of mastic application.
