Site work for a water / sewer project in South Holland, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are invited for the 2026 Sanitary Manhole Rehabilitation. All proposals must be sealed and addressed with the bidder’s name, address, and the project name. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Engineer. Bid documents, including specifications, are available electronically after prequalification review. A certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond for at least 10% of the bid, payable to the Village, must accompany each proposal. A performance bond for 100% of the bid amount is required for the successful bidder. The right to reject proposals, waive technicalities, or readvertise is reserved. No work may begin until all required permits are obtained. Contractors must comply with prevailing wage rates set by the Illinois Department of Labor and all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. Bidder qualifications and experience will be considered in determining the lowest responsible bidder. Prequalification submission to the Engineer is required prior to receiving bid documents. Proposals may be withheld if the Village feels the applicant does not serve its best interest.
