Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lititz, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The projects consist of: FOB: 350 tons 9.5mm wearing mix; 350 tons 19mm binder mix; 350 tons 25mm base mix OIL and CHIP: The application of approximately 15,000 sq.yd. using #9m (1/4") clean stone and 15,000 sq.yd. using (1/2") clean stone. (double shot). Using E3M oil at the rate of .35 gallon per sq.yd. (Note: Also, loose stones on all roads must be swept and collected by the contractor within 5days of the project being completed.) PAVING: Shall include 1" of 9.5mm for leveling. Approximately 17,000 sq. yd. Each bid must be submitted on the forms provided and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid. Elizabeth Township reserves the right to reject all Continued bids, and/or Next Column any or all bids, and/or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
