Electrical repairs and breaker replacement services are required at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven VA Medical Center. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform repairs, maintenance, testing, and replacement of existing electrical distribution system components in accordance with NFPA 70E, VHA Directive 1028, The Joint Commission requirements, and the Performance Work Statement. Work includes coordination of electrical outages, lockout/tagout procedures, installation of temporary breakers, repair and rebuilding of defective low- and medium-voltage breakers, replacement of damaged racking mechanisms, trip units, coils, contacts, indicators, and related components, and post-installation inspection, testing, certification, and documentation. All work must be coordinated with VA facility leadership to minimize operational impact, performed by qualified and certified personnel, and completed within the required period of performance, including after-hours and weekend work as necessary. The contractor shall provide submittals, test reports, certifications, waste disposal documentation, and a minimum one-year warranty on all parts, labor, workmanship, and equipment.
