Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Haven, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Backflow repair services to restore proper operation of a fire service backflow prevention device in accordance with the Statement of Work. Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, disposal, and incidentals necessary to complete repairs to an 8-inch RPBP backflow device, including replacement of the relief port, lubrication and repacking of components as required, tagging of all existing and new valves and components, and certified backflow testing and inspection performed by a Connecticut Department of Health-certified tester. Services also include coordination with VA personnel, compliance with lockout/tagout and confined space procedures, startup and acceptance testing, and provision of all required submittals such as test reports, material certifications, waste manifests, photographs, and final documentation within the specified timeframe. All work shall be performed in compliance with applicable VA policies, federal and state codes, safety requirements, and regulatory standards to maintain the integrity of the fire protection system. Location: VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven VA Medical Center, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516. The cut-off date and time for receipt of questions is April 30, 2026 by 12:00 PM EST. Questions received after this date and time may not be answered. Questions shall be answered in a formal amendment to the solicitation so all interested parties can see the answers. Questions shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer in writing via e-mail.
