Backflow repair services to restore proper operation of a fire service backflow prevention device in accordance with the Statement of Work. Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, disposal, and incidentals necessary to complete repairs to an 8-inch RPBP backflow device, including replacement of the relief port, lubrication and repacking of components as required, tagging of all existing and new valves and components, and certified backflow testing and inspection performed by a Connecticut Department of Health-certified tester. Services also include coordination with VA personnel, compliance with lockout/tagout and confined space procedures, startup and acceptance testing, and provision of all required submittals such as test reports, material certifications, waste manifests, photographs, and final documentation within the specified timeframe. All work shall be performed in compliance with applicable VA policies, federal and state codes, safety requirements, and regulatory standards to maintain the integrity of the fire protection system.
