Construction services are sought to support the Electronic Health Record Modernization Infrastructure Upgrades at an active medical campus. Work includes upgrading facility fiber throughout multiple buildings to each telecommunications room, providing redundant fiber runs and redundant fiber mains to redundant demarcation rooms, installing data drops and new electrical outlets, providing additional power in each telecommunications room, and upgrading facility power distribution and HVAC distribution as required. The scope also includes physical security assessments and upgrades, hazardous material abatement, and construction of a new data center. The work addresses deficiencies identified under the Physical Security Design and Resiliency Manual 2021 VA Standard and ensures adequate capacity for planned growth, maintenance, and full EHRM functionality prior to system go-live. Construction will be performed in accordance with final specifications and drawings prepared by an independent architect-engineer, and includes all labor, materials, equipment, and construction-related services necessary to complete the project.
