Provide replacement of the existing B-1, LC-7, RM SG109A split air conditioning systems at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven VA Medical Center. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and incidentals necessary to remove and replace existing SANYO split-type indoor and outdoor air conditioning units serving room SG109A. Replacement units shall be equal or similar in capacity to the existing systems and fully paired interior and exterior units. Services include inspection of existing electrical and HVAC piping for reuse, replacement of unfit piping at no additional cost, minor modifications to supports as required, insulation removal and replacement, coordination of lockout/tagout and hot work permits, system testing, commissioning, and disposal of removed equipment in accordance with applicable laws. The contractor shall coordinate all activities with VA personnel, comply with VA safety, security, and records management requirements, and provide submittals including product data, certifications, inspection reports, photographs, manuals, warranties, and final documentation. All work shall be completed within the required period of performance and in compliance with applicable codes, VA standards, and Performance Work Statement requirements.
