The project shall reconstruct Graham Road between the intersection of Earlywood and Graham Road to the intersection of Paul Hand Boulevard and Graham Road. Bids must be made on forms provided in the Contract Documents and include a cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond of not less than 5% of the total bid amount. The awarded bidder is required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract. Required submissions include insurance certificates (showing ability to provide specified limits) and financial statements. Monthly partial payments will be made based on approved payment requests. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all required Federal and State labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. The City of Franklin, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof and to waive responsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and qualification investigation before awarding the contract.
