The work includes roadway reconstruction of Chestnut Avenue, Park Avenue, and Westray Avenue consisting of pavement reconstruction, including approximately 13,810 square yards of varying depth milling, 64 tons hot mix asphalt base and 1,850 tons surface coarse, 1,199 concrete vertical curb reconstruction, traffic striping, and all work necessary and incidental thereto. Each proposal must be submitted using the forms provided in the contract documents and enclosed in a sealed envelope that bears the name and address of the bidder and the project name. Materials required to be included in the envelope are specified under 'Instructions to Bidders.' Proposals must be complete, in ink, and any incomplete bids or those not submitted according to the specified envelope procedure may be considered informal. No oral interpretation shall be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of any of the Contract Documents or be effective to modify any of the provisions of the Contract Documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be postmarked at least ten (10) days before the established date for Bid opening. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
