Lawn care services are required for several Scott County locations, including the Government Center Campus, Marschall Road Transit Station/Integrated Health Center, Extension Office, Juvenile Alternative Facility, and Hopes Portage. The vendor must provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to complete the work. Services include: - Full Spring and Fall clean-up of all turf areas and finished landscape beds, to be completed by May 31st (Spring) and November 1st (Fall), respectively, including de-thatching, mowing, removal of debris, and cutting back perennials. - Weekly mowing and trimming services to maintain turf at a height of 2.5 – 3.5 inches, with alternating mowing patterns, trimming around all obstacles, and ensuring clean walkways. - Annual Fall aeration of all turf areas between September 1 and November 1. - Shrub trimming (twice per season) and weekly weeding of shrub gardens, with all service areas marked upon completion. - Four scheduled weed control and four fertilizer applications annually between May and November, with spot treatment as needed, including all parking lot islands. All treated areas must be marked upon completion. Qualified bidders are required to provide these services in a professional manner consistent with industry best practices. Bidders must comply with all terms and conditions and submission requirements as specified. Scott County reserves the right to award by section to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder or make no award for given sections as may be in its best interest.
