The project involves the COUNTYWIDE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE PROJECT. Bid documents are available electronically or as hard copies for a fee. Each bid must include a bid guaranty of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, in a form permitted under contract documents. SBE, MBE, WBE, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to participate. Standard contract provisions of HUD and the U.S. Department of Labor for CDBG apply, including Civil Rights, EO 11246, EO 11625, Affirmative Action, Section 3 Requirements, Federal Public Works, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and all standard CDBG provisions. The contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment. The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities. Bids may be held for up to forty-five (45) days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications before awarding the contract.
