Description

Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Proposals are requested from qualified design firms with landscape architect experience to provide complete planning, design, bidding, and construction administration services for the redevelopment of a City-owned property at 268 Beaver, Cannon Beach Elementary School, approximately 1.6 acres in size. The project is primarily to develop the property as a city park and secondarily as a community event space, including assistance with relocating the Cannon Beach food pantry currently onsite. The selected Design Firm will be responsible for conceptual design options, schematic design, design development, permitting, bidding, construction documents, and construction administration, including managing necessary subconsultants. Subconsultants will be paid through the fee to the Design Firm. The City is using a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) delivery method. Proposals will be reviewed, scored, and ranked according to defined criteria and process. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is required for all proposers. Proposals must be received by the specified deadline, may be submitted electronically or by mail/delivery, and late proposals may not be opened. The City may reject any or all proposals in whole or in part if in the best interest of the City.
