Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mukilteo, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For harbor pointe boulevard pavement preservation. The work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the harbour pointe blvd pavement preservation with pavement preservation improvements that include planning and overlaying harbour pointe boulevard with hot mix asphalt (hma). The BASE bid includes erosion control measures, traffic control, removals, storm installation, utility adjustments, curbing, sidewalk and curb ramps, pavement markings, vehicle detection loop replacement, relocation of a rectangular rapid flashing beacon system, signing, fog sealing *** and other work. The work described in these contract documents shall be physically completed within 40 working days. Workers performing work in conjunction with the contract shall receive a prevailing rate of wage pursuant to the prevailing wages on public works act (chapter 39.12 rcw). Bid bond required: each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the city of mukilteo. The city of mukilteo encourages participation in all its contracts by m/wbe firms certified by the office of minority and women's business enterprises (omwbe). Participation may be either on a direct basis in response to this solicitation or as a subcontractor to a bidder/proposer. No preference will be included in the evaluation of bids/proposals, no minimum level of m/wbe participation shall be required as a condition for receiving an award and bids/proposals will not be rejected or considered non-responsive on that basis. No voluntary m/wbe goals have been established for this project for either mbe or wbe participation. The city of mukilteo reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities or minor irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the city of mukilteo. Price range: $1,650,000 to $2,015,000 *the value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
