Site work for a development in Boulder, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
The project involves safeguarding features on privately owned properties using a variety of closure methods. Historical preservation is required for areas adjacent to mine sites that may contain significant artifacts and structures. Care must be taken to avoid any effect on these structures and artifacts to preserve their integrity. Existing structures, except shaft timbering, cannot be used as load-bearing devices. Question Deadline 04/22/2026 at 4:00 PM MT The scope of work is detailed in bid item descriptions, which include all measures necessary and incidental to move equipment and supplies onto and within the Project Area, and to complete all requirements necessary for project goals. This includes all labor, equipment, and costs associated with demobilization and clean-up of the work site upon completion. Instructions to bidders include requirements that all bids be submitted electronically via Colorado Vendor Self Service (ColoradoVSS), with a bid schedule, list of equipment, and, if applicable, SDVOSB certification. All equipment to be used must be listed, and the contractor must have ownership, lease, or arrangements to obtain the required equipment. Performance and Labor and Material Bonds are required for bids of $150,000 or more. SDVOSBs may be eligible for a price preference if proper certification is submitted. Bidders must visit the site to assess work conditions and are responsible for evaluating all documents and amendments posted on ColoradoVSS. Alternate bids are not accepted. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed, and required insurance coverage and other contractual bonds and documents must be provided as specified if awarded the contract. Failure to submit a complete bid or meet requirements may result in rejection or disqualification of the bid. The lowest responsible bid, including all additive alternates within available funds, will be awarded the contract. All interested bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit.
