Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Boulder, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of removing and replacing portions of the existing domestic water distribution system as part of the Domestic Water Valve Replacements Phase 2 project. The contractor shall remove approximately 350 linear feet of existing 6-inch cast iron domestic water piping and replace it with new PVC piping. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of one 6-inch fire hydrant valve, one 6-inch water main valve, and one 6-inch branch valve. All work shall be performed in accordance with the requirements outlined in the draft Statement of Work provided with the sources sought announcement and shall support continued operation and reliability of the campus domestic water system. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to complete the work in a safe and compliant manner within an active campus environment. Location: NIST Boulder Campus, 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80305. Work will take place on the daycare center lawn area between Building 26 and the front sidewalk at the main entrance of Building 3. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
