Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Cheney, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project consists of temporary erosion and sediment control measures, clearing and grubbing existing sod, excavation and embankment, trenching and placement of conduit and light pole bases, placement of gravel base and a cement concrete surface to accommodate four pickleball courts, court striping, fencing, cement concrete sidewalk, irrigation retrofit, landscaping, and grass surface restoration. There are two additive alternates: (A) reconditioning of the existing 12-foot-high chain link fence around the perimeter of the adjacent tennis courts and (B) two-color pickleball court surfacing. The time for completion of the onsite work is 35 working days. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms and be accompanied by a bid deposit equal to five percent of the bid amount in the form specified. Failure to provide a compliant bid bond will render the bid non-responsive. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes as specified. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities or reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn after the bid opening or before contract award unless the award is delayed more than sixty days. All bidders must certify eligibility regarding federal procurement lists and nondiscrimination requirements apply. All addenda and notifications will be distributed to those on the Planholders List. Estimated budget: $300,000 to $350,000
