Overlay of new cover board and single-ply roof membrane over existing single-ply roofing assembly, and other related work indicated in the Contract Documents. This work will take place on an existing building and site currently in use and occupied by the owner. All bidders must register and create an account in the EWU C&P Contractor Diversity Management System (B2Gnow) to submit an electronic bid. Contractors that are awarded the project are responsible for printing all documents necessary for performing the work. State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable. Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract. If the base bid and the sum of the alternates combined reach one million dollars or more, the bidder is required to provide the names of the subcontractors for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural steel installation, and rebar installation on specified forms within set deadlines after the bid submittal time. Supplemental bidder responsibility will be evaluated according to specified criteria. Voluntary workforce diversity goals are identified in the instructions to bidders and general conditions. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
