Site work and paving for a road / highway in Conway, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The scope of work includes approximately 1,320 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, Superpave WMA binder course, Superpave WMA wearing course, base repair, traffic control, bituminous wedge curb, structure adjustments, add alternates for additional paving, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction on various roadways in the Borough of Conway. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough of Conway and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Conway to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. The Borough of Conway reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and The Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE.
