Description

Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Bloomer, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The Town Board of the Town of Bloomer, Chippewa County, Wisconsin is accepting bids for bridge overlay work. Work includes overlays on two bridges: Bridge on 125th Ave. (approx. 20 ft.) and Bridge on 207th Ave. (approx. 20 ft.). Bidders must provide a quote price per ton, tonnage, and total cost. Each bridge overlay should be submitted individually. Work specifications include milling joints on each end, sweeping existing asphalt, furnishing and installing tack coat, and furnishing and installing 1.5 inches of compacted HMA. Proof of insurance is required. Contractors must comply with State and Federal Air and Water Quality Standards and are responsible for traffic control during the project. The contractor(s) must notify the Town Chairman 24 hours before starting any work. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will accept the bid most beneficial to the town.
