Description

Outdoor lighting and renovation of a parking garage in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

This project consists of upgrading the bay light fixtures and the lighting control system for the Newton Road Parking Ramp at the University of Iowa. Question Deadline 05/21/2026 Each Bidder shall examine the Contract Documents carefully and, not later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for receipt of bids, shall make written request to the Design Professional for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which may be discovered. Targeted Small Business (TSB): The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Project consists of replacing existing parking garage bay lighting within the ramp and entrance canopies. Lighting replacement to match lighting installed at Hawkeye Ramp and Arena Ramp. Replacing the Level 3 South walkway area with direct output wall lighting. This includes providing a new wireless control system to network the lighting system with the other ramps mentioned above.
