The intersection of Coal Creek Parkway SE and the "Private Road" ultimately does not provide sufficient access management to the surrounding roadway network, residences, and businesses and non-motorized facilities, particularly for pedestrians crossing CCPkwy. The goal of the overall project would focus on improving non-motorized access for users such as pedestrians and bicyclists. Supporting and increasing effective access management to the surrounding CBC, including residences, businesses, retail, etc. Additionally, maintaining or improving vehicle movements along CCPkwy, particularly in the AM and PM peak hours while supporting local economic development and planned growth within the project's vicinity are priorities. The project is included in the City's 2026-2031Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 07, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
