The New Morgan Borough Utilities Authority is soliciting sealed bids for Contract 26-1, New Morgan Water Tank Replacement. The project proposes replacing the existing bolted steel tank with a welded steel tank 56' - 0" in diameter and 32' - 0' in height (589,624 gallons) located adjacent to the existing tank. The work includes restoring the site access road, demolition of the existing tank and concrete foundation pad, installation of a new foundation pad, erection of the new welded steel tank, installation of new connection piping to the existing water system, and installation of electrical and control wiring for level sensing, alarm floats, and a tank mixer. Sealed bids must be submitted online via the PennBid Program. Requirements include a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 10% Maintenance Bond, and Contractor's Insurance. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of the COVID-19 ARPA H2O PA grant. All bidders must comply with Non-discrimination/sexual harassment provisions and name the Commonwealth Authority as Additionally Insured.
