The Work to be performed for the Project shall include, but will not necessarily be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and appurtenances for the televised inspection and cleaning of approximately 81,150 lineal feet of existing sanitary sewer pipe at various locations within the CTMSA collection system. The Proposal for the Project shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal.All Proposals shall be effective for ninety (90) calendar days, and the Project must be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Total Contract Amount will be required. All Bidders shall provide a copy of their NASSCO Pipeline Assessment Certification with their bids. Notice is given that portions of the Work are to be performed in easement areas on residents properties. All disturbed areas are to be restored to previous condition. Contractor is strongly advised to visit and examine the site prior to preparation of bid. Notice is given that the project for which construction bids are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate prevailing minimum rates as promulgated under provisions of said act must be paid by contractors in connection with performance of the necessary work. Subject to applicable law, the Caernarvon Township Municipal Sewer Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof and to delete projects and/or portions of projects based upon budget constraints.
