The work in the base bid includes 3,820 square yards of base repair, 310 tons of leveling course, 1,270 tons of wearing course, 1,940 square yards of 5” reclamation, and related pavement markings. The work in the alternate bid includes 10,130 square yards of cold in place recycling, 1,320 square yards of base repair, 1,570 tons of wearing course, 1,940 square yards of 5” reclamation, and related pavement markings. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal security equaling ten percent of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for forty-five calendar days from the date of opening, and the work must be completed not more than seventy-five calendar days following receipt of the notice to proceed. A non-refundable fee is required for each set of contract documents. Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry are applicable. Contractor shall be PennDOT prequalified for the work. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or portions thereof. Certain portions of the project may be modified or eliminated due to budget limitations.
