Sealed bids will be received for Community Center Roof Replacement. All Bid Documents, Construction Plans, and Specifications are available online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.net at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder will be required to pay the PennBid program a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value, with a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Township of Darby, must accompany each bid. Requirements include Prevailing Wage Rates, various insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, a payment bond, a performance bond for 100% of the contract price, and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Township of Darby reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any informalities in the bidding as deemed in the interest of the Township.
