Electronic bids for the City of Oregon Sidewalk Improvement Project will be received via BidExpress. Bid documents, technical specifications, and drawings are available for download online. Bidders must register as a vendor via the Lucas County website. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond for 100% of the bid amount or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit for at least 10% of the bid amount, in favor of the Lucas County Board of Commissioners. Bid Bonds must include Proof of Authority for the signing agent. Bidders must comply with Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Davis-Bacon Wages, insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and provide payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price. No bids may be withdrawn within thirty days after opening. Lucas County reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept any bid for both labor and material for the improvements without disclosure of reason, and to determine the lowest and best bidder in the aggregate.
