New construction of a recreation facility in Ely, Nevada. Completed plans call for the construction of a recreation facility.
Sealed proposals are invited for the construction of the Steptoe Valley Trap and Skeet Range Hunter Education Building Phase-III, PWP# WP-2026-412. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and properly endorsed. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash amounting to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Plans, proposal forms, contracts, and special provisions can be obtained from Basin Engineering for a non-refundable fee. Only bids submitted by registered plan holders will be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held. Bidders must hold a valid contractor's license and a City Business License prior to commencing construction. The project is federally funded and subject to federal labor standards, including Davis-Bacon wage rates and BABA requirements. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered and active in SAM.gov. Wage rates are set by the State Labor Commissioner. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any items specified in the bid request and may waive minor technicalities. The award may be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, judged on price, performance, qualifications, quality, utility, adaptability, and public interest.
