Sealed proposals are requested for the Ice Plant Hill Remediation Project. Copies of Information for Bidders, Contract, Form of Proposal and Bid Forms, Plans, and Specifications are available for examination or purchase for bidding purposes from the specified engineering firm. The contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, requiring workers to be paid no less than the prevailing minimum wages as set forth in the applicable schedule. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid must be submitted, using a certified check, bank cashier's check, or other negotiable instrument guaranteed by a commercial bank. The borough reserves the right to accept or reject any form of bid bond deemed insufficient for security. The borough also reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any portion thereof, waive informalities or irregularities, and negotiate upon receipt of bids. Quantities may be increased or decreased. No bid will be accepted after the specified time, and bids must adhere to the official borough time. Construction time requirements are detailed in the project scope of work. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days once filed. The borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bids received.
