1. Project Overview The City of Lake Ozark is Soliciting Competitive Sealed Bids From Qualified Contractors to Provide Complete Demolition Services for Twenty-three (23) Structures Identified in the City's Approved Fy25 Cdbg Competitive Demolition Project. This Procurement is Conducted in Accordance With Missouri Cdbg Procurement Guidelines (Chapter 9), 2 Cfr 200.319, and Applicable Federal and State Requirements. All Work Will Be Performed After Licensed Asbestos Abatement Has Been Completed on the Properties That Require It by a Separate Licensed Abatement Contractor. The Project Will Eliminate Slum and Blight Conditions in Accordance With the City's Ordinances and the Cdbg National Objective of Elimination of Slum and Blight on a Spot Basis (Sbs). Important Timeline Note: Because Asbestos Abatement Will Be Completed Prior to the Start of the Demolition Window, the 60-day Demolition Schedule Will Be Strictly Enforced. Requests for Additional Time Beyond Weather-related Delays Are Not Anticipated and Will Not Be Routinely Granted. The Process Has Been Streamlined; Bidders Should Plan Accordingly. 2. Abatement of Regulated Friable Asbestos Has Already Been (or Will Be) Performed Separately by a Licensed Abatement Contractor. The Demolition Contractor is Responsible For Proper Handling of Any Remaining Non-friable Acm Using Work Practices That Keep Materials Non-friable and In Compliance With All Applicable Regulations.
