Site work for a water / sewer project in Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Design and construct approximately 3,000 linear feet of new sewer line to replace the existing sewer main line, manholes, and lateral connections. The work includes replacement and installation of double cleanouts for all buildings along the flight-line side of Tyndall Avenue that connect to the new sewer line. Due to utilities and facilities installed since the original sewer main was constructed, the existing sewer main will be abandoned in place where feasible. The existing sewer system must remain operational during construction. The project requires experience in underground utility construction, coordination and execution of work on an active military installation, management of subcontractors, compliance with environmental and construction permitting requirements, and performance of work comparable in scope and complexity to large sewer infrastructure replacement projects. The estimated construction price range for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
