The work of this project shall consist of the maintenance dredging of portions of Beach Thorofare in the City of Margate. Mechanical and hydraulic dredging are permitted methods of dredging. Dredged material shall be hauled and disposed of at either Surran's Soil Replenishment in Corbin City, New Jersey or at Tuckahoe Turf Farms in Estell Manor, New Jersey. The Contractor shall abide by all permit conditions in the New Jersey Department of Environmental (NJDEP) Waterfront Development Permit, NJDEP Administrative Permit Modification, and United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Permit, and all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. Other miscellaneous items of work shall be included, as shown on the plans and as directed by the Engineer.
