Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Margate City, New Jersey. Completed plans call civil work for a library and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work of this project shall consist of the resurfacing of a paved parking lot on Block 8, Lot 2 at 8100 Atlantic Avenue. The contractor is responsible for all permits required for the construction of the project. The contractor will be responsible for the permit fees. Separate payment will not be made for obtaining permits. Other miscellaneous items of work shall be included, as shown on the plans and as directed by the engineer. Nightime operations shall not be permitted. Work on weekends shall not be permitted, unless approved by the Library. At the end of each work day the streets shall be passable and open to traffic with access to driveways and all water services and sanitary sewer services shall be operational. Accommodations for emergency service vehicles shall be made at all times. At the end of each work week (Friday) each street shall be left free of equipment and materials and normal traffic operations shall be permitted with access to driveways. Therefore, the contractor shall schedule material delivery, removal and equipment accordingly. Every request for such interpretation should be made in writing, addressed to the Engineer, and to be given consideration, must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the final date fixed for receiving bids.
